She: Mommy, why cannot throw things on the floor?
Me: Can we throw things on the floor?
She: No.
Me: Why not?
She: Because if you throw things on the floor, then you don’t have anything already!

Now I know why my daughter has been emptying her piggy bank into her purse, and insisting on bringing out her handbag. No more telling her mommy is broke cos she’d tell me she has money!!!

He: Yahn, come here and wear your clothes
She: Daddy, say “Come here princess”.
He: (stunned)….. Come here princess.
She: Okay! (and walks over compliantly and happily)

Me: You’re doing this paper?
She: Yes!
Me: Why don’t you talk to mama?
He: She does not want to be disturbed, right?
She: Mommy, if you disturb me i will go away.
